Joan is a dynamic and experienced educator who is passionate about helping teachers and students thrive. With more than 35 years in education, Joan brings deep expertise as an award-winning classroom teacher, preschool director, Director of Curriculum for a PreK–8 school, instructional literacy coach, curriculum developer, and educational consultant.
Joan specializes in instructional coaching, co-teaching models for inclusion classrooms, curriculum development, and student-centered instructional practices that build deep understanding while engaging students’ curiosity and creativity.
She works alongside educators to strengthen literacy instruction, implement effective co-teaching structures, differentiate learning, and create engaging, standards-aligned curriculum that supports all learners.
Now through her own educational consulting business, Joan partners with schools and educators throughout New Jersey and New York, providing professional development, coaching, curriculum support, and practical classroom strategies that empower teachers and inspire students.
